About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect to play a pivotal role in steering enterprise transformation, strategy, and AI-empowered technology delivery for a prominent South Australian organisation undergoing a substantial technology transformation. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Technology Strategy & Architecture, this position resides within a well-respected architecture team that collaborates closely with business leaders, project teams, and technology stakeholders to realize critical business goals.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead comprehensive solution architecture processes from inception to completion.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to grasp requirements and define targeted solution outcomes.
• Create and maintain architecture artefacts, standards, and design documentation.
• Ensure alignment of solutions with enterprise strategies, roadmaps, and governance frameworks.
• Work in close partnership with project managers, technology teams, and domain experts.
• Deliver architectural guidance spanning applications, integrations, data management, security, and cloud platforms.
• Advance the maturity of the architecture practice through standards and ongoing improvement initiatives.
• Champion modern technology delivery approaches, including AI-enabled productivity enhancements.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven extensive experience in Solution Architecture within multifaceted enterprise settings.
• Deep expertise across application architecture, integration, data management, and security domains.
• Comprehensive understanding of cloud technologies and contemporary architectural methodologies.
• A track record of successfully implementing architectural solutions in large-scale business projects.
• Strong consulting acumen coupled with excellent stakeholder management capabilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both oral and written.
• Comfortable working autonomously and navigating ambiguous environments.
• Familiarity with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Valued exposure to AI technologies and other emerging technology trends.
