Solution Architect

Role Summary

The Solution Architect will be responsible for designing comprehensive end-to-end technical architectures across applications, data, integrations, infrastructure, and cloud ecosystems. This role demands translating business goals into effective, secure, and scalable technical solutions, including AI and Generative AI implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Create robust architectural designs that address applications, data flows, system integration, underlying infrastructure, and cloud-based platforms.
• Convert business strategies and requirements into tailored technical designs that align with organizational standards.
• Ensure all solutions conform to enterprise architecture principles, security protocols, and governance frameworks.
• Specify critical non-functional requirements such as system performance, availability, scalability, and reliability.
• Architect and deploy AI-enabled systems, particularly incorporating Generative AI use cases, adhering to enterprise guidelines.
• Offer architectural leadership to development, infrastructure, DevOps, and security teams, reviewing designs and key technical decisions.
• Oversee risks related to architecture, identify dependencies, and manage technical debt effectively.
• Establish AI operational best practices, including aspects like model monitoring, performance metrics, prompt management, and version control.
• Liaise with business stakeholders, product owners, and project managers to facilitate clear understanding and collaboration.
• Communicate complex architecture concepts succinctly to technical and non-technical audiences alike.
• Monitor and evaluate emerging technology trends, advising on architectural improvements and innovations.
• Participate in creating and refining enterprise standards, reference architectures, and best practices, with a focus on AI solutions.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, engineering, or an equivalent discipline.
• Total IT industry experience ranging from 8 to 10 years, with at least 4 to 5 years specializing in solution architecture roles.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex, large-scale enterprise software solutions.
• Preferred to hold architecture or cloud certifications such as TOGAF or Azure/GCP Solution Architect credentials.
• Experience in AI, analytics, or Generative AI projects from ideation through to production deployment is a strong advantage.
