Role Overview

The position focuses on designing solar photovoltaic (PV) layouts specifically for ground mount projects exceeding 50 MW. The engineer will be responsible for detailed solar PV site layouts, including module placement, cable routing, and equipment positioning while optimizing layouts for site-specific characteristics such as land shape and terrain contours.

Key Responsibilities

• Create comprehensive solar PV layout drawings and site plans, incorporating module configurations, cable paths, and equipment locations.
• Optimize site layouts considering geographic features like land shape and contour variations.
• Prepare Bills of Materials (BOM), Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and detailed engineering drawings.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in designing ground mount solar projects with capacities above 50 MW.
• Proficiency in specialized software tools such as AutoCAD, PVsyst, and Helioscope.
• In-depth understanding of solar PV layout principles and associated design considerations.
• Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) or Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
