Software Quality Lead

Overview

Master Works is in search of a seasoned Software Quality Lead to spearhead the quality assurance initiatives, establish robust testing standards, and ensure consistent delivery of superior software solutions throughout multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Take charge of and coordinate software quality assurance and testing operations across projects.
• Formulate and enforce QA methodologies, standards, efficient processes, and industry best practices.
• Create detailed test plans, craft comprehensive test cases, and employ risk-based testing strategies.
• Supervise various testing procedures including functional, integration, API, regression, and automation testing.
• Integrate quality checkpoints and testing protocols within continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Track testing milestones, analyze quality metrics, manage defect reports, and verify release preparedness.
• Detect and address quality risks while fostering ongoing enhancements in QA processes.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to QA engineers promoting knowledge transfer and team growth.
• Collaborate effectively with development, product management, and business units to resolve quality challenges.

Candidate Requirements

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines.
• More than six years of professional experience in software quality assurance and testing domains.
• Proficient in test automation techniques and comprehensive software testing approaches.
• Hands-on expertise with API testing and working in CI/CD environments.
• Familiarity with industry tools such as Selenium, Postman, JMeter, or equivalents.
• Solid grasp of Agile and Scrum development frameworks.
• Exceptional analytical capabilities, problem-solving aptitude, and communication skills.

This position requires presence on the client site in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
