Software Quality Analyst (Manual Testing)

Role Overview

We seek an enthusiastic and proactive Quality Assurance Engineer who combines structured manual testing methods with innovative AI-driven techniques. The successful candidate will use advanced generative AI tools such as Gemini and ChatGPT to accelerate the creation of test cases, enhance test coverage, analyze complex scenarios, and improve communication effectiveness. This role is crucial for ensuring overall product excellence, advocating for the end-user, and supporting smooth processes across the entire software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement AI technologies like ChatGPT and Gemini to create, refine, and perfect detailed test strategies, edge-case identification, and test data preparation.
• Convert user stories and system requirements into comprehensive test cases, guaranteeing complete coverage without any gaps.
• Maintain and organize test suites, keeping them updated and accessible for all team members for efficient execution.
• Perform extensive functional, regression, and exploratory testing on various platforms within specified timelines.
• Record detailed, actionable bug reports including reproduction steps, screenshots or video evidence, and comparison of expected versus actual results.
• Track and manage defect life cycles including re-testing and close collaboration with developers to resolve issues.
• Use creative testing approaches to uncover hidden bugs, edge scenarios, and identify user experience challenges beyond conventional test paths.
• Apply AI-assisted workflows to automate routine documentation tasks, condense bug summaries, and enhance personal productivity.
• Maintain clear documentation of deliverables progress relative to objectives, and promptly communicate any impediments.
• Identify and implement ongoing improvements in QA processes and maintain centralized knowledge sharing resources.
• Communicate concise and timely progress updates to project leads and stakeholders on a daily and weekly basis.
• Monitor and investigate client or internal support issues, providing timely, technical feedback and solutions.
• Diligently escalate critical blockers or challenges to the technical leadership to ensure prompt resolution.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Comprehensive understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Agile software development practices.
• Demonstrated experience in authoring clear and detailed test plans, test cases, and defect reports.
• Practical experience integrating generative AI platforms (such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) into QA routines, including prompt engineering, synthetic data creation, and issue summarization.
• Excellent analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.

Eligibility

Applicants must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology (IT) or a Bachelor of Technology/Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
