Role Overview
The Software Project Manager position is a full-time role located on-site in Dubai. The incumbent will be responsible for steering software projects from initiation through completion, ensuring timelines, budgets, and scopes are adhered to. Daily activities involve directing project teams, establishing project timelines, managing requirements, monitoring progress, and engaging with stakeholders including clients, developers, and QA specialists. The role includes organizing meetings, risk and issue management, task prioritization, and maintaining clear communication channels among all involved parties.
Additional responsibilities include tracking project performance, generating status reports, and contributing towards refining project management methods and tools.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in project and software project management, with hands-on leadership experience throughout software development lifecycles.
- Strong background in software development to effectively collaborate with engineering personnel.
- Excellent analytical abilities to analyze data, evaluate risks, and facilitate informed decisions.
- Experience in requirements analysis, including eliciting, documenting, and validating business and technical requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or a related discipline.
- Familiarity with project management frameworks such as Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall and tools like Jira, Trello, or MS Project.
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder relationship skills suitable for multicultural environments.
- Ability to manage priorities, oversee multiple concurrent projects, and operate efficiently in a dynamic, on-site workplace.
- Professional project management certifications such as PMP are preferred.
