Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and adaptable Tier-IV Escalation Engineer to enhance our expanding team. This role requires rapid learning and agility to keep pace with evolving technologies, delivering expert-level technical solutions and support for our products. The engineer will investigate and resolve customer issues promptly while collaborating closely with development and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver advanced technical support for Varonis products.
• Analyze and debug intricate customer-reported problems.
• Develop and apply patches, fixes, and diagnostic utilities.
• Assume full responsibility for escalations, driving them to resolution.
• Serve as a primary technical liaison within internal collaborations.
• Work alongside engineers from various product segments to ensure successful outcomes.
• Expand comprehensive product knowledge across a broad spectrum.
• Develop and refine documentation to aid support engineers in troubleshooting.
• Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal capabilities.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a comparable degree from a recognized institution.
• At least three years of professional experience developing enterprise-level Python applications.
• Familiarity or experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, and Microservices is an advantage.
• Skills in UI and performance testing.
• Expertise in asynchronous programming and building high-performance applications.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded application development.
• Experience with Machine Learning technologies is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Fluent verbal and written command of the English language.

Additional Preferred Skills

• Capability to train and support internal teams.
• Understanding of IT domains such as networking, security, and storage.
• Prior experience in customer-facing technical roles.
• Exposure to .NET C# applications.
• Experience in constructing dashboards and developing training materials.
