The Software Engineer role involves taking ownership of product features throughout the lifecycle—from understanding customer problems to deploying solutions used by paying game studios. The work includes building core systems such as attribution, measurement, lifecycle messaging, and integrating AI-driven marketing tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and deliver end-to-end product features that impact paying customers.
• Develop attribution and measurement capabilities including click tracking, identity capture, install attribution, and conversion postback mechanisms.
• Contribute to Engage, the lifecycle and messaging engine, supporting campaign management, segmentation, deliverability, and A/B testing.
• Assist in the creation of an AI-powered Chief Marketing Officer tool that offers strategic marketing recommendations.
• Leverage AI tools like Cursor and Claude Code in daily development workflows.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Data, and company founders, as well as maintain direct communication with game studios using the platform.

Candidate Profile

• At least 4 years of software engineering experience in product-oriented settings.
• Comfortable navigating and delivering in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript (front and backend) and Golang development.
• Excellent communication skills with empathy to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and promoting best practices.
• Passion for building user-centric products with a focus on operational excellence.
• Experience in startup or entrepreneurial environments is advantageous.
• Interest in gaming and a rapid learning capability.

Additional Preferred Experience

• Background in marketing technology, growth platforms, customer data platforms, or engagement tools with familiarity in concepts like segmentation, attribution, user acquisition, lifecycle marketing, and deliverability.
• Experience launching products from initial concepts (0 to 1), focusing on solving customer problems and prioritizing features.
• Regular use and evaluation of AI agents in software development, understanding their strengths and limitations.
• Delivered AI or large language model-powered product features.

Technical Environment

The technology stack includes TypeScript, Go, Next.js, React, BigQuery-based customer data platform, AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and AI development tools such as Cursor and Claude Code. Development follows small team ownership with continuous integration and deployment practices.
