Role Overview

We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Product Engineering team. This role involves working across the entire technology stack, including customer-facing features developed in React and TypeScript, backend Go services that process massive security data, and the infrastructure that ensures security and reliability. New hires will start contributing during their initial weeks with support from senior engineers and gradually take on greater responsibilities. While expertise in cybersecurity isn't required initially, curiosity about the domain is essential.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver customer-facing features using React and Go services.
• Manage well-defined projects from start to finish with senior engineer mentorship and peer reviews.
• Maintain platform performance and scalability as user demand grows.
• Participate in constructive code reviews and technical discussions influencing development practices.
• Deepen knowledge in cybersecurity to enhance product impact.
• Progress towards senior engineering roles with managerial support tailored to growth.

Required Qualifications

• Typically at least 2 years of relevant software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and React for frontend development.
• Competency in a backend programming language, preferably Go.
• Experienced with relational databases, especially Postgres.
• Comfortable using AI-powered coding tools as primary workflow, with sound judgment in evaluating outputs.
• Ability to balance technical quality with immediate business needs pragmatically.
• Collaborative attitude focused on customer and product success over individual code ownership.

Preferred Experience

• Background in cybersecurity domains.
• Hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters, ideally within Google Cloud Platform environments.
