Role Overview

We are seeking a Backend Engineer with Django expertise to drive new product initiatives and transform ideas into market-ready solutions. Our technology stack encompasses Django, Angular, Postgres, and AWS. Key attributes include an eagerness to plan, deliver, and learn continuously.

Key Responsibilities

• Conceive, develop, and validate new product features collaboratively.
• Leverage prior knowledge and past experiences to design innovative fintech solutions for diverse business needs.
• Partner across teams including engineering, design, and product management to optimize user experience.
• Identify and resolve bugs promptly, frequently liaising with end-users.
• Oversee pull requests, ensuring high code quality and robust unit testing while maintaining development velocity.
• Assist in transitioning modules to autonomous microservices architecture.
• Influence product functionality impacting tens of thousands of users.
• Experience in early-stage startups is advantageous.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience in web application development using current engineering practices.
• Strong proficiency in Python and Django framework.
• Expertise in diagnosing and resolving complex database performance challenges.
• Critical thinking applied to enhance both technical execution and user satisfaction.
• Proven track record of building scalable, efficient backend systems with practical compromises.
