Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including product, design, operations, and infrastructure to create novel application experiences.
- Develop custom user interfaces using state-of-the-art programming methods and technologies.
- Evaluate and enhance code quality, efficiency, and performance; participate in peer code reviews providing constructive feedback.
- Lead teams by setting goals and directions, spearheading significant initiatives, offering technical mentorship, and onboarding new members.
- Design robust and scalable systems powering complex applications.
- Detect and address issues related to performance and scalability; lead efforts to diminish technical debt.
- Engage with multiple programming languages and technological stacks.
- Take ownership of specific components, features, or systems with comprehensive understanding from end to end.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum of 8 years programming experience in relevant languages or at least 4 years with a PhD.
- Proven track record leading organizational change and managing intricate technical projects.
- Ability to use data-driven analysis to diagnose technical challenges and deliver detailed feedback and solutions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.
- Experience incorporating AI tools to optimize or redesign workflows yielding measurable outcomes such as enhanced efficiency or quality.
- Consistent advancement in AI expertise, including prompt engineering and agent orchestration, with awareness of emerging AI innovations.
- Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms, emphasizing graph theory and optimization methods.
- Familiarity with natural language processing methods like text preprocessing, tokenization, and sentiment analysis.
- Commitment to ethical AI practices, including risk evaluation, bias mitigation, and quality assurance.
- Understanding of information retrieval principles encompassing indexing, querying, and ranking.
- Hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
