Team Overview
The Advertising Technology team is dedicated to transforming the advertising sector by delivering a state-of-the-art global ad platform. Our mission includes optimizing content monetization and enhancing viewer experiences across various platforms, specializing in video advertising for both on-demand and live streaming services for direct-to-consumer, third-party, and vMVPD platforms.
Role Responsibilities
- Architect, develop, and sustain RESTful microservices primarily using Java technologies.
- Create dynamic and user-friendly front-end interfaces using frameworks such as Angular, React, and technologies like HTML5.
- Develop and improve robust back-end services ensuring smooth database connectivity and operations using SQL.
- Deploy and manage cloud-native applications leveraging AWS infrastructure.
- Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams including UI/UX designers, DevOps, and product managers to deliver comprehensive software solutions.
- Maintain high levels of application performance, scalability, and resilience.
- Produce clean, maintainable, and efficient code with adherence to best practices such as unit testing and conducting code reviews.
- Diagnose, debug, and optimize application code and infrastructure.
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to continually enhance development processes and solutions.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- 3-4 years of experience as a full-stack software engineer with a solid understanding of scalable cloud-native applications.
- Proficiency in developing REST-based microservices with Java and frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
- Strong front-end development skills with Angular, React, and HTML5.
- Advanced back-end development expertise in Java, including business logic and API development.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases and their management.
- Familiarity with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS and knowledge of cloud-native architectures.
- Competency with CI/CD pipelines and tools including Jenkins and GitHub, alongside container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of software engineering principles including design patterns, clean code practices, system design, software architecture, and agile methodologies.
- Experience in Advertising Technology domains such as AdServer (SSP/DSP), OTT, or Media Streaming is preferred.
- Knowledge or interest in AI technologies and agents is advantageous.
