Role Overview

As a Software Engineer II at Enovis Brisbane, you will play a vital role in the Product Development team. Ideal for early-career professionals, this position involves collaborating within an Agile environment to create and maintain web applications and backend services utilized by clinicians, researchers, and healthcare experts worldwide. Technologies employed include .NET/C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, Python, cloud platforms, and microservices architectures.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web frontends and backend services using .NET/C#, Vue.js, TypeScript, and Python.
• Enhance and build microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Partner with Product Management, QA, UX, and engineering peers to deliver customer-focused products.
• Engage in Agile rituals such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-tested code aligned with best practices and standards.
• Address software defects, optimize performance, and manage production incidents.
• Participate in code reviews, offering and receiving constructive feedback.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design.
• Support CI/CD processes and deployment activities.
• Continuously expand knowledge of new tools, frameworks, and methodologies.
• Document technical aspects and share knowledge within the team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Commercial software development experience or relevant academic/internship projects.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
• Familiarity with modern programming languages such as C#, .NET, Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Basic knowledge of web application creation.
• Experience using source control tools like Git.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Hands-on experience with .NET and C# frameworks.
