Job description
Role Overview
We are expanding our Digital Services team and seeking a seasoned Software Engineer to join permanently either at our Marlow or London offices in a hybrid working arrangement. This role involves designing, building, and maintaining secure and scalable digital systems, focusing on API integration, backend development, and modernising applications.
Key Responsibilities
The Software Engineer will contribute to the software development lifecycle, ensuring the delivery of robust and secure solutions in a regulated environment.
Requirements and Skills
- Minimum 5 years of commercial software engineering experience.
- Expertise in C# programming, including .NET and ASP.NET Core frameworks.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Proficient in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong SQL database management skills.
- Familiarity with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines, preferably using Azure DevOps.
- Committed to implementing automated testing practices.
- Understanding of secure software development principles.
- Experience working within a UK-regulated industry, particularly financial services, is highly desirable.
- Additional familiarity with Blazor framework, CosmosDB, containerization technologies, or asynchronous messaging will be advantageous.
