Software Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance software solutions that support retail operations. This role focuses on integrating multiple systems such as ERP, POS, inventory, payment gateways, and e-commerce platforms to ensure seamless functioning across physical stores and central databases.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain retail software applications.
• Develop and manage integrations connecting ERP, POS, e-commerce, inventory, payments, and other operational systems.
• Ensure reliable and accurate data synchronization between stores and centralized systems.
• Build and sustain APIs and system integration points.
• Diagnose and resolve software issues, system errors, and integration breakdowns.
• Work collaboratively with departments including Retail, Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, and Warehouse to deliver effective technical solutions.
• Facilitate system setups and integration support for launching new retail outlets.
• Enhance system scalability, reliability, performance, and automation potential.
• Monitor application operations and address technical problems impacting business processes.
• Participate actively in system testing, deployment activities, upgrades, and feature implementations.
• Spot opportunities to automate workflows and boost operational efficiency.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive technical documentation adhering to development and security best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Proven experience in software development and integration tasks.
• Solid understanding of APIs, backend programming, and database management.
• Familiarity with ERP, POS, retail, or e-commerce system landscapes is advantageous.
• Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 will be considered an asset.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Good verbal and written communication abilities in both Arabic and English.
