Software Engineer

Join ScienTec Consulting as a Software Engineer to maintain and improve a live AI-powered digital service platform. This role involves working on backend services, web apps, data pipelines, and cloud infrastructure to ensure platform reliability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve full-stack applications, APIs, and platform services
• Implement new functionalities, fix bugs, and enhance code quality
• Create user interfaces and link them with backend systems
• Maintain stable production systems, data workflows, and scheduled tasks
• Monitor system status, resolve issues, and manage incidents promptly
• Oversee cloud deployments, system updates, security patches, and optimize infrastructure

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software engineering experience, skilled in both frontend and backend development, especially using Python
• Proven experience building modern web applications and API integration
• Operational experience with production cloud environments; AWS knowledge preferred
• Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes, monitoring tools, alerting, and incident handling
• Familiarity with Spark or PySpark; experience with Databricks or Airflow is a plus
• Exposure to real-world machine learning, large language models, or recommendation systems is advantageous
