The Clinic Marketing team manages Jane Websites, turning clinic setups into marketing websites, and is now expanding to incorporate AI-driven website generation and marketing analytics tools to aid clinics in understanding their marketing data without requiring marketing expertise.

This position focuses on pioneering new projects—from conceptualization to customer testing to iterative development. The Development Manager will guide a skilled development team, collaborate closely with product and design teams, engage in technical architecture discussions, and mentor team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of developers to enhance both technical skills and career development.
• Collaborate with product and design from early stages to define use cases, scope, and data requirements.
• Drive innovative, zero-to-one product development through to delivery.
• Provide strong technical guidance during architecture reviews and decision-making.
• Manage team delivery with clear priorities and a proactive approach.
• Balance the team's pace between rapid experimentation and deliberate quality.
• Promote responsible, practical adoption of AI technologies within projects and team operations.

Qualifications and Experience

• Several years as an active software developer with progressive experience leading development teams.
• Strong technical foundation suited for architecture evaluation and guiding technical directions alongside senior developers.
• Experience taking at least one product from initial concept to launch in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
• Collaborative mindset, especially working closely with product and design teams in the triad model.
• Enthusiasm for coaching team members and fostering their professional growth.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure, take ownership, and ensure project completion.
• Practical experience with AI tools, maintaining a curious and realistic approach to their application.
• Bonus: familiarity with marketing tools, website builders, or analytics software (not mandatory).

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this role spans from $158,400 to $247,500 annually, reflecting growth from initial skill development to mastery and significant impact. Most hires start around $188,100 per year. Jane emphasizes transparent and fair compensation alongside career development discussions and regular salary growth.
