Job Overview
Seeking a Software Development Manager to lead and oversee a technical team responsible for system development and maintenance. The role involves managing successful implementation and integration of systems utilizing technologies such as Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
Key Responsibilities
- Direct and guide the systems development and support team to achieve project and operational goals.
- Ensure smooth integration and deployment of applications developed with Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle SQL, and Microsoft Power Platform components.
- Manage service requests, handle incident and problem resolution, oversee change management, as well as spearhead project initiatives.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to maintain seamless operations and regulatory compliance.
- Offer technical direction and mentorship to team members.
- Conduct routine performance appraisals and deliver constructive feedback.
- Keep abreast with emerging trends and innovations in the software development domain.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years in system development and support roles.
- Demonstrated strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Comprehensive expertise with technologies including Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Oracle SQL, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
- Strong analytical thinking and adept problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective team collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in estimating effort and timelines for requirements gathering, design, testing, implementation, including data mapping and system interfaces considered an advantage.
- Proven experience in DevOps and MLOps practices.
- Background in AI model training projects.
- Familiarity with AI lifecycle management principles and Software Bill of Materials (SBOMs).
Location and Work Schedule
This position is based at Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd., located at Pioneer Yard, 50 Gul Road, Singapore 629353. Islandwide transportation is provided.
Work hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am to 5:15 pm, and Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
