Role Overview

The Internal DNS team within AWS Load Balancing is seeking a Software Development Engineer to contribute significantly in developing and supporting services that enable safe DNS management through software load balancing. This role plays a vital part in facilitating customer onboarding to AWS Load Balancing services, ensuring network availability, and improving customer experience via insightful analytics.

Basic and Preferred Qualifications

• Proven professional software development experience outside internships.
• Strong background in system design and architecture, focusing on scalability, reliability, and design patterns.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or an equivalent field is preferred.
• Experience covering the full software development lifecycle: coding practices, peer reviews, source control, builds, testing, and operational support.
