Job Role

We seek a Software Developer skilled in leveraging AI technology throughout the development lifecycle. Your responsibility will include designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining features across web and mobile platforms, with AI coding tools integrated into everyday workflows. This role demands proficiency in identifying effective AI outputs and the discernment to intervene when AI-generated code falls short.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and support features for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate and utilize AI coding assistants throughout development stages including planning, coding, testing, and refactoring.
• Convert customer requirements into clean, reliable, and maintainable code.
• Conduct thorough code reviews of both AI-produced and human-written code, focusing on quality, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to refining team practices around AI-assisted development.
• Diagnose and resolve issues occurring in production environments.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum of 1 year commercial experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or Codex in active development scenarios.
• Proficient in PHP, Laravel framework, React, TypeScript, and MySQL or similar database technologies, with eagerness to learn theBOSSapp’s stack.
• Strong fundamentals in software architecture, testing methodologies, debugging, and writing sustainable codebases.
• Experience designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and Git version control system.
• Judicious awareness of when to rely on AI-generated solutions and when to apply manual intervention.
• Proactive, curious about AI’s impact on development, and committed to continuous learning.
• Effective communication skills and a collaborative team player.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience programming AI agents for complex multi-step tasks with defined contexts, rules, and constraints.
• Background in Software as a Service (SaaS) or operational management software.
• Mobile application development experience.
• Knowledge of Docker containerization and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines.
