Team and Role Overview
The Engineering Team at Aspire pioneers innovative, digital-first fintech solutions simplifying business financial services. As we scale, we seek a seasoned Software Architect to help design and build a future-ready architecture that will support rapid growth and product excellence. This role involves working on a leading fintech product serving Southeast Asia within a diverse international team.
Key Responsibilities
- Define scalable and fault-tolerant fintech system architectures.
- Lead complex vertical-specific technical projects to successful completion.
- Guide technology and framework selection to align with product goals.
- Proactively enhance system performance by identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions.
Required Qualifications
- At least 9 years of professional experience, preferably with fintech startups or strong tech companies.
- Robust knowledge and practical skills with multiple programming languages, frameworks, and technologies.
- Ability to design systems that ensure scalability, fault tolerance, concurrency control, and auditability under heavy load.
Preferred Expertise
- In-depth understanding of software design patterns and architectures.
- Experience with software development methodologies, debugging, testing, and technical documentation.
- Exposure to multiple technical stacks and proficiency in backend languages such as PHP (preferred), Go, Python, Node.js, or Java.
- Knowledge of microservices, RESTful APIs, data architecture, caching, message brokers, logging, and monitoring tools.
- Strong focus on scalability, performance, and reliability balancing accuracy and safety in critical domains.
