Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Software & Firmware Developer to join our team to help create the next wave of Navicom’s products and software solutions. This role is uniquely varied, covering embedded firmware, cloud-based software, mobile platforms, and artificial intelligence technologies. You will engage with the entire technology stack, playing a key role in both the development of new solutions and the maintenance and enhancement of current systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Create firmware for hardware devices including embedded systems and communication protocols.
• Develop and maintain cloud software applications and services.
• Build and support software systems used internally and by Navicom’s clients.
• Design new software tools and applications supporting product functionalities and business operations.
• Implement advanced software development approaches, focusing on emergent AI technologies.
• Design AI Agents and agent workflows to optimize operations.
• Apply test-driven development and create automated testing procedures.
• Develop and support iOS/iPadOS and Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with hardware teams to integrate firmware, software, and hardware into complete solutions.
• Diagnose, enhance, and sustain existing software and firmware platforms.

Candidate Profile

• Technically proficient and curious with enthusiasm for solving complex technical challenges.
• Experience in multiple of these domains is ideal: embedded firmware programming, cloud software engineering, modern software architectural patterns, AI tool utilization, AI agents, test-driven development, mobile application programming, APIs, databases, networking, and software system integration.
• Familiarity with Git or equivalent version control systems and contemporary software engineering practices.
• Strong software fundamentals coupled with eagerness to learn and apply new technologies.
