Soft Skills Trainer

Position Overview

We are looking for a motivated Soft Skills Trainer committed to evaluating and mentoring students across several centers to ensure they are prepared for employment. This role involves analyzing students' performance through thorough mock interviews, conducting regular training sessions, providing focused support to those who require improvement, and traveling monthly to multiple branch locations to uphold consistent training quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and execute impactful training sessions in communication skills, resume development, interview conduct, group discussions, and aptitude preparation to support placements.
• Administer mock interviews at different branches, systematically assess student capabilities, and classify readiness levels such as Placement Ready, Intermediate, or Needs Support.
• Create custom intervention strategies and provide remedial coaching for students who need additional assistance to reach placement criteria.
• Continuously identify skill gaps through Training Needs Analysis and collaborate with subject instructors to tailor the soft skills curriculum to industry requirements.
• Visit multiple branches monthly to conduct live sessions, audit student progress, and coordinate with center teams to achieve placement objectives.
• Partner closely with the placement team to align candidate profiles with hiring demands and specific job requirements of companies.
• Maintain comprehensive branch-level reports on attendance, mock interview results, performance metrics, and improvements following training sessions for management evaluation.

Qualifications and Skills

• At least one year of experience as a Placement Trainer, Soft Skills Trainer, or Campus Recruitment Specialist is preferred.
• Strong aptitude for objectively evaluating interpersonal, technical, and analytical skills during mock interviews.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to effectively engage and mentor groups.
• Ability to analyze candidate data using tools such as Excel or Google Sheets to categorize skill levels and generate actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel monthly to different branch locations.

Preferred Education and Tools

• Degree in Psychology, MSW, or MBA is advantageous.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge AI-driven tools or automated platforms for resume screening and interview preparation is a plus.

Compensation

The remuneration for this position ranges from 18,000 to 25,000 INR monthly.
