Role Overview
The position of Social Media Videographer is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar. The selected candidate will oversee the conceptualization, filming, and post-production of video content aimed at promoting the center's services, specialties, and patient-centric values across social media platforms. Responsibilities include collaborating with marketing and clinical teams to design video concepts, shooting both clinical and non-clinical footage while observing safety and privacy policies, managing video assets methodically, and preparing optimized video formats suitable for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Facebook.
The role may also require capturing still images, helping with basic graphic content creation, and staying updated on social media trends to introduce innovative content ideas.
Qualifications and Skills
- Proven expertise in the planning, shooting, and editing phases of video production.
- Competence with professional camera equipment and operation for social media-oriented content.
- Skill in arranging lighting setups and managing shoots in varied indoor and outdoor settings.
- Experience using video editing software tools like Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or their equivalents, including basic audio editing abilities.
- Knowledgeable about social media platforms, content formats, and optimal practices for both short- and long-form videos.
- Creative storytelling capabilities with a sharp eye for framing, visual design, and adherence to brand standards combined with cultural sensitivity.
- Strong organizational aptitude, efficient time management, and the capability to juggle multiple deadlines successfully.
- Comfortable working within healthcare environments, maintaining patient confidentiality, and following all safety protocols.
- Educational background in Film, Media, Communications, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Prior experience in social media videography, marketing content generation, or agency or brand projects is advantageous.
- Familiarity with Meta advertising tools is preferred and considered a plus.
