About Rosehope Foundation

Rosehope Foundation (RHF) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, special needs, and the elderly through care, education, and advocacy. Established in April 2024, RHF addresses service gaps in Nigeria by providing structured programs in autism care, behavior support, elderly care, and assisted living. The foundation also conducts advocacy and research aimed at improving policies, raising awareness, and enhancing quality of life for the communities it serves. Its mission is to foster an inclusive society that recognizes disabilities as opportunities for dignity, growth, and meaningful involvement. The team works in a compassionate, respectful, and impact-oriented environment.

Role Overview

The Social Media Manager position is a full-time, onsite role based in Ilorin, Kwara State. The incumbent will be responsible for strategizing, crafting, and disseminating content across RHF's social media platforms to promote the foundation's programs, services, and advocacy activities. Day-to-day tasks include scheduling posts, engaging with followers, responding to comments and messages, and optimizing content for maximum visibility and influence. The role demands collaboration with program and communications teams to create campaigns showcasing success stories, educational material, and calls to action. Additionally, the manager will monitor social media performance using analytics, prepare progress reports, and propose enhancements to strengthen RHF’s digital footprint and support fundraising and outreach.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficient in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization techniques to develop effective campaigns that expand audience engagement.
  • Strong communication and writing abilities to produce clear, inclusive, and persuasive content suitable for diverse audiences.
  • Competent in Content Strategy to devise content plans aligned with the foundation's mission and advocacy objectives.
  • Experience managing social media accounts for nonprofits, community groups, or mission-focused organizations is a plus.
  • Familiarity with social media analytics tools (such as platform insights) and basic graphic design software (e.g., Canva) is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated commitment to inclusion, disability rights, and ethical narrative practices concerning vulnerable groups.
  • Minimum educational requirement includes a diploma or degree in Communications, Marketing, Social Sciences, or a related discipline, or equivalent hands-on experience.
