About Angad Creations

Angad Creations stands as a prominent fashion house in Jammu, specializing in handcrafted embroidered apparel including shawls, sarees, phirans, suits, and bridal wear. Their workshop meticulously creates new designs daily featuring various traditional embroidery techniques like aari, tilla, and sozni. Currently, these unique creations lack proper storytelling and exposure in the digital space, which this role aims to address.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on position based in-store for six days weekly. Being present on the shop floor is essential, as it provides direct access to the products, artisans, and customers who bring life to the brand. The Social Media Manager will be entrusted with the complete management of content production and social media engagement to ensure the brand’s story reaches a wider audience.

Responsibilities

  • Document day-to-day store activities including new stock arrivals, customer interactions, and the overall ambiance.
  • Create behind-the-scenes visuals showcasing the artisans at work and embroidery craftsmanship in progress.
  • Produce engaging packaging and unboxing videos and images.
  • Gather and share customer testimonials and reviews to build trust and credibility.
  • Support in-store visual merchandising and displays through content.
  • Manage social media channels including Instagram accounts for Angad Creations India and Canada, as well as Glancia.
  • Produce daily Instagram stories and maintain active engagement by responding to comments and direct messages.
  • Expand presence on Pinterest, YouTube, and operate WhatsApp broadcast campaigns.
  • Execute email marketing campaigns and maintain an organized content calendar.

Candidate Profile

  • Strong appreciation and knowledge of fashion, especially ethnic wear.
  • Keen eye for color coordination, fabric texture, and styling nuances.
  • Proficient in smartphone photography ensuring clean, consistent, well-lit images and videos.
  • Fluent in English and Hindi with confident communication abilities.
  • Comfortable engaging directly with customers and artisans on the sales floor.
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Availability to work six days per week from the store location in Jammu.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with Indian ethnic apparel or handcrafted products.
  • Basic skills in content editing applications such as CapCut, Lightroom Mobile, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or similar social media management tools.

Why Join

This position offers a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the craft of embroidery and Indian ethnic fashion, telling compelling stories rarely captured in this market. Joining as one of the pioneering members of the company's marketing team means growth potential into senior branding roles as the team expands.

Employment and Compensation

  • Full-time role based in-store in Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
  • Workweek is six days with direct store presence required.
  • Annual salary package ranges from ₹450,000 to ₹500,000.
