Role Overview

Zhagaram Publishing House, a Tamil children’s book startup in Madurai, is recruiting a Social Media Manager to enhance and manage its digital presence. This position goes beyond typical social media tasks to include shaping the brand's identity and promoting its engaging stories and characters to parents, children, educators, and book enthusiasts.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and oversee Zhagaram’s presence on multiple social media platforms.
• Conceive and execute creative content ideas inspired by the company’s books, characters, and publication journey.
• Create and manage diverse social media content including posts, reels, and stories.
• Craft compelling captions and written content in both Tamil and English.
• Collaborate with illustrators and the internal team to produce appealing visuals.
• Maintain a content calendar ensuring consistent posting schedules.
• Stay informed about social media trends and tailor them suitably for the children’s publishing sector.
• Interact with the audience by responding to comments and messages to build a vibrant community.
• Analyze content engagement and metrics to refine future strategies.
• Support promotional activities for new book launches, campaigns, and events.

Additional Information
