Role Summary

We are seeking a Social Media Manager to oversee end-to-end content creation, including filming, editing, captioning, scheduling posts, managing the community, and weekly performance reporting. This role requires hands-on work, alternating between filming and editing or writing captions, following a structured weekly content cycle to maintain daily posts on all platforms throughout the year.

Key Responsibilities

• Capture daily hero videos and supporting still shots, such as product/service visuals, team moments, and behind-the-scenes scenes, ensuring multiple takes for each key shot.
• Edit the main hero video first, then create tailored versions for different platforms like Reels, Shorts, and Stories with appropriate cropping.
• Add captions burned into videos, design cover images, and verify all videos against a creative checklist focusing on a strong hook, vertical 9:16 aspect ratio, clean subtitles, licensed audio, and clear calls to action before publishing.
• Develop a content calendar weekly every Monday, planning topics, hooks, CTAs, and optimal posting times.
• Craft platform-specific captions and relevant hashtags for each post.
• Schedule and publish daily content across all social media channels.
• Respond promptly (within 12–48 hours) and professionally to comments, direct messages, and Google reviews, including negative feedback, maintaining brand voice.
• Document frequent customer queries to identify ideas for future content.
• Analyze weekly performance numbers every Friday, prepare reports, and highlight top and low-performing posts to inform upcoming content strategy.

Candidate Requirements

• Experience level from 0 to 6 months in video editing, social media management, or content creation; freshers encouraged to apply if they can provide a portfolio showcasing personal Instagram/YouTube growth, college projects, freelance reels, or self-made samples.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro for video editing and skilled in Adobe Photoshop for creating covers and thumbnails.
• Knowledgeable about vertical 9:16 video formatting suited for Reels and Shorts.
• Familiar with captioning and subtitling tools such as Premiere’s built-in caption feature, CapCut, or Descript.
• Able to write concise captions and select appropriate hashtags.
• Basic filming skills, including capturing clear, well-lit vertical videos using a phone or camera.
• Additional preferred skills include experience with DaVinci Resolve (preferred primary editing software), Adobe After Effects or basic motion graphics, community management experiences, and familiarity with content scheduling tools.
• Applicants must have their own recording equipment: a camera or capable smartphone, microphone (lavalier or shotgun), proper lighting gear, and sufficient storage like SD cards.

Compensation & Application
