Job description
Role Overview and Responsibilities
This position involves developing and optimizing the Gold layer in the Snowflake Medallion Architecture to support efficient data workflows. The engineer will craft and sustain data pipelines utilizing Snowpark and API integrations, ensuring comprehensive data ingestion and manipulation. Critical duties include formulating and managing data models for business intelligence and analytics purposes, alongside building and enhancing Sigma dashboards for effective reporting.
The role is heavily focused on healthcare operational datasets involving office, patient, and appointment records. Responsibilities extend to ingesting data from API sources and potentially executing API post calls directly within Snowflake pipelines to automate workflows. Accurate translation of existing data frameworks into actionable reporting tables is required to aid business decision-making.
During data migrations, the engineer will examine legacy versus modernized datasets to pinpoint discrepancies, validate key performance indicator calculations, and guarantee the consistent application of business definitions. Vigilance in detecting and flagging data irregularities is essential to maintaining data quality.
Additional tasks include supporting data governance and security protocols within Snowflake and communicating technical conclusions through an established request process supervised by a specified manager. Successful candidates will collaborate closely with existing Snowflake team members while taking full ownership of assigned projects and deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from a recognized university (Any Graduate).
