Guinness Property delivers repairs and maintenance services to The Guinness Partnership, providing rapid-response housing repairs, maintenance, and improvement to ensure residents' homes are safe and well-maintained.
Job Overview
We are seeking a Skilled Labourer to join our team in Cornwall, supporting responsive repairs including damp and mould treatment, cleaning, clearance, and general multi-skilled tasks. This permanent position offers 40 hours per week with typical working hours Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm. You will also rotate through shifts from 10:30 am to 7:00 pm and Saturday mornings.
Location and Requirements
Candidates must reside in Cornwall and hold a full UK driving license. A basic DBS check is mandatory and will be covered by Guinness.
Key Competencies and Responsibilities
- Demonstrate competence in various multi-skills including internal and external property clearance, basic ground maintenance, mould treatment, and flooring installation.
- Experience working in customer-focused roles, preferably within social housing delivering excellent service.
- Ability to work methodically, meet targets, follow procedures, and maintain accurate records.
- Work independently with strong organisation and time management abilities.
- Perform physical work involving damp and mould treatment products safely and according to health and safety standards.
- Operate safely while evaluating environmental risks and hazards.
