Site Supervisor

Job Overview

We are seeking a Site Supervisor for a prominent organization based in Kochi, India. This role emphasizes strict adherence to Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) protocols along with maintaining statutory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure continuous compliance with HSE standards, statutory regulations, and internal company policies at all times.
• Maintain detailed safety documentation, records, and compliance reports in line with ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and client specifications.
• Conduct thorough risk assessments, identify hazards, develop Waste Management plans, and perform job safety analyses for on-site activities.
• Monitor and enforce the adoption of safe work practices, including compliance with the Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems.
• Create and implement effective safety procedures, emergency response protocols, and safe operating procedures.
• Organize and lead safety inductions, toolbox talks, as well as regular training sessions for both employees and contractors.
• Prepare and execute mock emergency drills such as fire, first aid, evacuation, chemical spills, heat stress, and natural calamities.
• Perform site safety inspections, audits, and investigate incidents; compile reports outlining corrective and preventive actions.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and regulatory authorities regarding HSE matters.
• Foster safety awareness and cultivate a strong safety culture throughout the workforce at all levels.
