Site Supervisor

Role Summary

Manage daily operations for fit-out and interior projects on-site, ensuring timely completion within budget while adhering to quality and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee everyday site activities, including civil work, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, false ceilings, painting, and flooring.
• Lead and coordinate tasks among workers, carpenters, and subcontractors.
• Interpret and apply architectural, MEP, and shop drawings accurately to ensure compliance.
• Monitor project progress against schedules and notify Project Manager of any delays.
• Inspect material quality and quantity upon delivery; maintain records of material usage.
• Confirm workmanship aligns with approved drawings, finishes, and specifications.
• Enforce safety regulations, personal protective equipment usage, and site cleanliness.
• Prepare daily progress reports with photographic evidence, and log manpower and materials.
• Validate measurements for contractor payments and assist with RA bill preparation.
• Engage with clients, designers, and consultants during site inspections.
• Manage snag lists and ensure completion of punch-list items before handover.
• Oversee site security, tools, and equipment management.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil, Interior, or Mechanical engineering; or ITI diploma complemented by substantial experience.
• 3 to 6 years of experience in commercial or residential fit-out/interior project execution; experience in restaurant or retail fit-outs is preferred.
• Proficient in reading drawings and performing accurate measurements.
• Familiarity with interior materials, joinery techniques, and finishing quality standards.
• Basic understanding of MEP coordination.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, WhatsApp for reporting, and basic AutoCAD skills (preferred).
• Ability to communicate effectively and manage teams in Tamil, Kannada, English, and/or Hindi.
• Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines.

Compensation

Monthly remuneration ranges from ₹15,000 to ₹20,000, adjustable based on experience.

Location & Employment Type

Full-time onsite role based in Chennai and Bangalore with responsibilities spanning multiple project sites.
