About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Site Services Technician to join a high-tech FMCG manufacturing site located in Gloucestershire. Key Responsibilities

The technician will be tasked with electrical and mechanical maintenance duties, including fault diagnosis and preventive maintenance of various automated and semi-automated production machines. Ensuring optimal uptime and operational efficiency within a fast-paced FMCG setting is essential. Shifts operate on a 4 days on, 4 days off schedule.

Requirements

• Proven electrical maintenance experience in an industrial manufacturing or FMCG context.
• Hands-on expertise with utilities such as boilers, refrigeration, water systems, and compliance with safety standards like PSSR and LOLER.
• Experienced in planned, reactive, and breakdown maintenance within a rapid industrial environment.
• Willingness and ability to work both day and night shifts.
• Electrical fault-finding and mechanical maintenance skills, including work on motors, gearboxes, bearings, pneumatics, and hydraulics.
• Recognized engineering qualifications at ONC level or higher.
• Basic PLC troubleshooting skills are beneficial.

Desirable Attributes

• Previous Site Services Engineer experience in the UK.
• Experience within FMCG, food, beverage, or packaging manufacturing sectors.
