Site Reliability Engineer

About the Role

A dynamic digital assets market maker and proprietary trading firm is expanding its Singapore operations. They seek a seasoned Site Reliability Engineer to enhance and maintain various components of their trading technology stack. This includes advancing cloud infrastructure, optimizing data processing pipelines, and managing network systems with an emphasis on performance and robustness.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and fortify the trading infrastructure to ensure high availability and low latency.
• Manage cloud environments, data flow systems, and network architectures within the trading framework.
• Work collaboratively within a compact team, taking significant ownership of projects.

Qualifications and Skills

• Between 5 and 10 years of relevant experience in financial technology sectors, preferably within traditional finance or cryptocurrency firms, managing physical computing infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes architecture and container orchestration.
• Strong background in network infrastructure administration, especially in configurations designed for ultra-low latency.
• Hands-on experience with cloud service platforms like AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
• Competence with CI/CD tools and workflows, including FluxCD and GitHub Actions.
• Programming skills in Go, Rust, or Python targeted at automation and tooling solutions.
