Site Operative

Role Overview

Working as a Site Operative with Bloor Homes, you will contribute towards creating high-quality homes by maintaining rigorous standards across our construction site in Didcot, OX11 9BF. Reporting directly to the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager, this position offers diverse duties and opportunities to demonstrate your commitment to excellence.

Main Duties

• Monitor stock levels and proactively inform the Site Manager or Assistant Site Manager when supplies are running low.
• Ensure the entire site maintains a satisfactory level of cleanliness, including welfare areas and the compound facilities.
• Potentially serve as an on-site first aider when required.
• Support health and safety initiatives by managing pedestrian routes and access, securing perimeter fencing, implementing fall protection systems, and executing site shutdown procedures.
• Participate in meetings necessary for performing your duties effectively.
• Adhere to and promote company policies and procedures at all times.
• Carry out any additional reasonable tasks as assigned.
• Maintain all COVID-19 health and safety protocols diligently.

Essential Skills and Attributes

• Prior work experience as a Site Operative on a busy construction site.
• Excellent communication abilities paired with strong time management skills.
• Self-driven, proactive approach with a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards work.
