Site Engineer

Job Overview

We are looking to hire a Site Engineer to oversee construction activities at retail interiors such as malls and airports. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining safety, organizing the site, and ensuring compliance with various client site protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Adhere strictly to site safety regulations, ensuring the use of safety shoes, helmets, and other personal protective equipment (PPE) for self and workers.
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite at the end of each day.
• Follow all site-specific rules including permissions, gate pass processes as per mall, airport, or client requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Solid understanding of retail interior construction tasks including carpentry, false ceilings, partitions, flooring, painting, electrical work, and signage installation.
• Competent in reading technical drawings and taking precise measurements.
• Basic proficiency in Excel, WhatsApp, email communications, and usage of CashBook application along with capabilities in photo reporting.
• Ability to communicate in basic Hindi and English.
• Strong leadership skills to effectively supervise and manage construction workers on site.
• Exhibits integrity, punctuality, and discipline particularly in handling money and materials.

Educational Requirements

The candidate must hold one of the following qualifications: a diploma in Civil, Interior, or Mechanical engineering; ITI certification in Carpentry; or a graduate degree coupled with relevant site experience.
