Site Engineer

Overview

Chiniwalas Pvt. Ltd. is seeking a skilled Site Engineer to manage and supervise the installation of facade elements such as curtain walls, glazing, aluminium composite panels (ACP), and structural glass at their project site in Pune, Maharashtra.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily installation activities of curtain walls, glazing, ACPs, and structural glass ensuring adherence to project timelines.
• Interpret and implement complex architectural, structural, and facade shop drawings accurately on site.
• Ensure quality control by verifying installation compliance with approved specifications, safety regulations, and alignment standards.
• Coordinate effectively with main contractors, architects, fabricators, and suppliers to resolve site challenges and avoid bottlenecks.
• Track daily progress by recording site measurements and preparing comprehensive status reports.
• Identify on-site design or fitment conflicts and collaborate with the engineering office to develop technical solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture.
• Have 2 to 5 years or more of practical experience in site execution within the facade, glazing, or cladding sector.
• Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of facade systems including unitized and stick curtain walls, ACP, spider glazing, and skylights, as well as waterproofing techniques.
• Proficient in reading and using AutoCAD or basic CAD/BIM software tools.
• Exhibit strong communication skills, proficiency in the local language, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to coordinate effectively within a team.
