Silicon Verification Engineer

Role Overview

Join as a Silicon Verification Engineer to ensure that the intricate silicon architecture is accurately transformed into reliable AI compute hardware. You will verify that Graphcore's RTL aligns precisely with the architectural specifications, safeguarding the quality of silicon prior to its physical implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and manage verification processes, establish coverage goals, develop test cases, and thoroughly analyze failures.
• Enhance shared verification infrastructure to accelerate engineering efforts and facilitate early problem detection.
• Collaborate closely with Architecture, Logical Design, and Physical Design teams to guide verification strategies and resolve issues efficiently.
• Take ownership of your work, communicate clearly across global teams, and contribute to making complex technical challenges more manageable.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in verification within CPU, ASIC, or similar silicon sectors.
• Proficient with UVM, SVA, assembly language, compilers, Git, and document management systems.
• Competency in planning verification activities and driving functional coverage to completion.
• Strong debugging expertise spanning RTL, software, and shared verification infrastructure.
• Confident user of SystemVerilog and Python programming languages.
