Job Overview

The Shovel Operator's role involves the proficient operation and upkeep of heavy shovel equipment across various project sites, including specialized marine and beach locations. The operator must maintain smooth and safe machine operations in line with company standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate shovel machinery for excavation, loading, and material management as per instructions.
• Conduct daily pre-operation inspections and basic maintenance to ensure equipment functionality.
• Collaborate with site supervisors and plant teams to meet work deadlines efficiently.
• Adhere strictly to safety protocols and company policies during all operations.
• Immediately report any mechanical faults, damages, or operational incidents to the Plant Manager.
• Keep equipment clean and ready for operation at all times.
• Assist in other site tasks or equipment operations when assigned by the Plant Manager.

Required Qualifications

• Possession of a valid UAE Shovel Operator (Heavy Tractor) license is mandatory.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English to comprehend work instructions effectively.
• Holding a Driving License No. 3 (LTV) is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with safe work practices and compliance with site safety standards.
• Capability to operate effectively in marine and beach site environments.
