Role Overview
This position involves developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify e-commerce stores for clients. Responsibilities include working extensively with Shopify themes, the Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The developer will optimize storefront performance, address technical issues, and handle integration of various Shopify applications and payment systems. Collaboration with designers and fellow team members is key to delivering responsive, user-centered, and efficient online shopping experiences.
Qualifications
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Hands-on experience with Shopify platform and Liquid templating.
- Familiarity with Shopify themes, apps, and integration methods.
- Knowledge of responsive design principles and e-commerce user interface/user experience best practices.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and optimizing Shopify storefronts.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and keen attention to detail.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in Shopify development is preferred and considered an advantage.
