Shopify Developer

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Shopify Developer to remotely create, tailor, and improve Shopify storefronts and applications. This position blends theme development with app engineering, focused on delivering commerce solutions that drive conversion and scalability.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and modify Shopify themes with Liquid, JavaScript, and CSS.
• Create custom Shopify apps utilizing the Shopify API and contemporary development frameworks.
• Integrate external services such as payment gateways, order fulfillment, and marketing tools.
• Enhance storefront performance with focus on conversion rates and Core Web Vitals metrics.
• Implement and manage custom checkout solutions and Shopify Functions.
• Work collaboratively with merchandising, marketing, and design teams to achieve business objectives.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Minimum three years of experience in developing Shopify storefronts or apps for production environments.
• Proficient with Liquid, JavaScript (including TypeScript), HTML, and CSS.
• Experience using Shopify CLI, Hydrogen framework, or Online Store 2.0 features.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs such as GraphQL Admin, Storefront API, and Shopify Functions.
• Knowledge of e-commerce best practices and strategies for conversion optimization.
• Competent in using Git version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and modern frontend development tools.
