Job Overview

The Shop Porter maintains cleanliness and safety across the shop and surrounding grounds, assists with errands, and supports event setups under the supervision of the Shop Manager.

Primary Duties

• Maintain cleanliness and safety by sweeping, cleaning, and removing waste materials throughout the day.
• Operate floor cleaning machinery such as sweepers and brooms.
• Utilize a forklift to transport materials safely.
• Empty waste containers regularly to maintain sanitary conditions.

Additional Responsibilities

• Follow all company safety protocols and standards rigorously.
• Prepare and dismantle chairs and tables for meetings or events.
• Run errands as directed by management.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the management team.

The ideal candidate is a proactive, detail-oriented individual who demonstrates initiative and takes pride in their work, seeking tasks independently without constant supervision.

Education and Experience

• Minimum of high school diploma or equivalent.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Ability to safely operate a forklift in compliance with safety guidelines.
• Capable of lifting weights up to 50 pounds independently.
• Possess a clean driving record.
• Self-motivated with keen attention to detail.
