Role Overview

The Shop Assistant will oversee the daily functioning of an electrical and lighting retail store, catering to customers’ product inquiries and sales related to LED lights, switches, and fans. The role requires maintaining organized inventory management, ensuring shop cleanliness, and coordinating with suppliers to replenish stock. Additionally, the assistant must address customer concerns and adhere to safety practices when handling electrical goods.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations in the electrical and lighting sector.
• Engage and assist customers in identifying suitable lighting solutions.
• Describe product characteristics, pricing structures, and offer appropriate recommendations.
• Oversee sales transactions involving LED lights, switches, and fans.
• Update and manage inventory and stock records precisely.
• Inspect incoming electrical merchandise, ensuring correct receipt and arrangement.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional appearance of the shop floor.
• Verify stock levels and collaborate with suppliers for timely reordering.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints while offering fundamental product advice.
• Implement and follow safety protocols related to electrical products.

Required Skills and Qualifications
