Role Overview

The Shop Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth operation of the resort's shops, with a keen focus on guest service and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect and return shop keys responsibly, coordinating with security officers.
• Open shops punctually and conduct daily float counts before business hours.
• Assist guests by dispatching purchased retail items efficiently.
• Manage newspaper and magazine reservations.
• Handle cash float transactions with the accounts department.
• Follow up on messages requiring attention.
• Maintain cleanliness and presentation of products and shop areas.
• Ensure products are attractively and correctly displayed, including window displays and price tagging of new inventory.
• Monitor shop stock and initiate requisitions for items running low or unavailable.
• Iron clothing items as needed.
• Contact the bank when credit card machines malfunction.
• Extend a warm welcome and attentive service to all guests.
• Perform daily cash prelisting and close float procedures.
• Ensure proper shop closure by verifying all items are in place and securely locked.

Candidate Profile

• Possesses a proactive approach and eagerness to learn new skills.
• Holds at least a School Certificate (SC).
• Is proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
