Role Overview

The Shift Supervisor plays a crucial leadership role, guiding the team throughout your assigned shifts to maintain seamless daily restaurant activities. This hands-on position demands active support, mentorship, and motivation of team members while upholding exemplary standards in food quality, customer service, safety, and cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct and organize the team during assigned shifts to ensure cohesive performance.
• Monitor team members' work and provide constructive coaching and feedback.
• Maintain consistent adherence to food preparation, customer service, and safety protocols.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve complaints promptly and professionally.
• Assist in executing opening and closing routines as needed.
• Oversee stock availability and contribute to inventory management efforts.
• Help with cash handling tasks, operate POS systems, and perform basic reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and organizational policies.
• Report shift performance and relevant issues effectively to management.

Candidate Requirements

• Prior supervisory experience in hospitality, quick service restaurants, or retail sectors.
• Strong leadership capabilities coupled with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to train, motivate, and develop team members.
• Good knowledge of food safety standards, customer service excellence, and operational procedures.
• Capability to perform efficiently under pressure and prioritize responsibilities effectively.
