Shift Mechanic

Overview

As a Shift Mechanic, you will play a fundamental role in maintaining the smooth operation and safety of Hilton's guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities, contributing to an outstanding guest experience through your technical expertise and commitment to hospitality excellence. This position fills an existing vacancy within the team.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and reactive maintenance across hotel facilities, including but not limited to the upkeep of lighting, electrical outlets, plumbing fixtures, caulking, grouting, and painting.
• Promptly respond to guest service requests and assigned tasks, collaborating with various departments within the hotel as necessary to ensure completion.
• Accurately log maintenance activities and flag any issues that require additional attention to maintain operational standards.

Qualifications and Skills

• Basic hands-on experience in electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general mechanical maintenance.
• Graduation from vocational training focused on building operations or general maintenance.
• Proficient understanding of routine maintenance and engineering responsibilities in facility management.
• Familiarity with basic computer systems and relevant software to support maintenance tasks.
• A strong commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work autonomously with dedication to task completion.
• Previous maintenance experience within large-scale environments such as hotels, hospitals, ships, or complex buildings is highly advantageous.
