About the Role
This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise, not McDonald's USA. The franchisee holds the license to operate under the McDonald's brand, but is a separate employer responsible for all employment matters including hiring, supervision, discipline, and scheduling. McDonald's USA does not participate in decisions related to your application or employment.
We are seeking a Shift Manager passionate about driving a team to deliver excellent customer service, high-quality food, and maintaining cleanliness standards while ensuring smooth shift operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team members and other managers each shift to provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service while maintaining McDonald's quality standards.
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including food safety, internal communication, inventory oversight, cleanliness, and maintenance.
- Manage crew scheduling, training, and performance to meet shift and departmental goals.
- Maintain safety and security protocols to safeguard employees and customers.
- Communicate effectively with the next shift manager to ensure seamless operational continuity.
Candidate Requirements
- Prior leadership experience preferred, ideally in restaurant, retail, or hospitality settings.
- Strong team player with a positive attitude and flexibility to work in a fast-moving environment.
- Must be at least 18 years old to qualify for a manager role in corporate-owned restaurants.
