Shift Manager / Assistant Manager

Overview

This role focuses on managing and developing team talent, driving sales, and maintaining high standards in store operations. The Shift Manager / Assistant Manager ensures a motivated team, customer satisfaction, and smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Address employee issues swiftly and treat all team members with fairness and respect.
• Ensure that no team member is assigned duties before completing all necessary training.
• Communicate regularly with the team about goals and performance results.
• Recruit, train, retain, and develop staff to enhance the overall guest experience.
• Manage scheduling effectively, including cross-training and task allocation to deliver quality service.
• Develop career growth plans for promising team members.
• Lead local marketing efforts to integrate the store into the community and boost sales.
• Track performance metrics and share them with the team, involving everyone in goal achievement and planning.
• Maintain the restaurant’s cleanliness and ensure product availability during every shift.
• Execute suggestive selling techniques appropriately to enhance sales.
• Coordinate with other managers to resolve issues and discuss plans.
• Adjust staff assignments dynamically throughout shifts to meet objectives and maintain speed and hospitality standards.
• Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally using established methods (LEADS).
• Delegate tasks efficiently and ensure proper staffing for each shift.

Compensation

The monthly salary range is between INR 16,000 and 23,000.
