Shift Manager

About the Role

This position is with an independently owned and operated McDonald's franchise, not McDonald’s USA. The franchisee solely handles all employment-related decisions and matters. Working as a Shift Manager offers a rewarding opportunity to lead a team, deliver excellent customer service, and develop leadership skills within a dynamic restaurant setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise shifts to ensure fast, accurate, and friendly customer experience.
• Manage and motivate crew members and other managers to uphold quality, service, and cleanliness.
• Plan shifts, monitor ongoing performance, and take corrective action to meet company standards.
• Oversee food safety, internal communication, inventory management, and daily maintenance.
• Ensure safety, security, and profitability during shifts.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with succeeding Shift Managers for smooth transitions.
• Assist departments in achieving their goals and meet shift-related performance targets.
• Handle scheduling and training activities.

Candidate Requirements

• Preferred prior leadership experience in restaurant, retail, or hospitality sectors.
• Strong team player with a positive attitude and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible availability and reliable, consistent attendance.
• Must be at least 18 years old to qualify as a manager in corporate McDonald's restaurants.
