About the Role
As a Shift Leader at Panda Restaurant Group, you play a pivotal role in supporting management to deliver Panda's mission within the restaurant environment. This position involves fostering a passionate approach to food preparation, heartfelt service, and maintaining an inviting ambiance.
Working as a Shift Lead means taking on a central role within a busy and expanding team, responsible for creating a lively and welcoming atmosphere for guests, managing restaurant operations during your shift, and participating hands-on in the preparation of popular Panda dishes. You'll develop a wide skill set that supports both personal and team growth.

Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education level: some high school coursework.
- Preferably some experience in operations management.
- Food Safety compliance including locally required Food Handler certification (at applicant's expense).
- Ability to meet physical demands such as lifting up to 50 pounds, standing for extended periods, working in hot, noisy, and cramped kitchen environments.
- Skill in using kitchen tools such as the Chinese cook knife and the ability to work quickly without error.
- Effective verbal communication skills and ability to adapt to dynamic, fast-paced settings with shifting priorities.
- Capability to manage conflict and handle challenging situations professionally.
